    Roland Vater

    I was born in Germany where I went to school and did my apprenticeship in Carpentry/ Joinery. In 1991 I immigrated to Christchurch, New Zealand, where at first I worked as a Cabinetmaker/Joiner. From there I progressed into Furniture & Kitchen design, product development and Architectural Design in my own company as well as under contract for other firms. I have renovated and build numerous houses and worked with Homes by design as Architectural Designer since 2007. In December 2012 HBD ceased trading which prompted me and my wife Sarah to open our Architectural Design Practise here in Canterbury.

    Connie Ling

    Connie came to New Zealand from Malaysia in 2011 to study architecture at Victoria University of Wellington. After she graduated from university, she moved to Christchurch and started working with Casa Design this year. Her genuine passion for residential projects is driven by the need for simplicity. 
    During her free time, Connie enjoys getting out and travels around New Zealand to explore the beautiful scenery and outdoor activities.

    Hong Tang

    Hong joined Casa Design in April 2017.
    She graduated from Changsha University of Science & Technology, Hunan, China in 2010 with her bachelor degree in surveying & mapping engineering.
    Hong moved to New Zealand in 2014 to further study architectural drafting and completed a graduate diploma at Ara Institute of Canterbury in Christchurch.
    She started her career in NZ with Casa Design to follow her passion for architecture and loving home design.
    When not working Hong enjoys outdoor activities as well as board gaming with friends.
